serves as back-up to the Vaccine Manager and performs all related duties as requested, including, but not limited to: Coordinate vaccine supply for annual influenza campaigns, ad-hoc and planned initiatives involving the use of publicly funded vaccine, and emergency vaccine orders. Prepare and submit monthly vaccine spend plans to federal and state contacts and submit State Vaccine Bulk orders. Resolve vaccine delivery issues with vaccine distribution centers and couriers Process and prepare vaccine invoices for pediatric, state, employee health, and fee-for-service (FFS) programs. Serves as the unit’s subject matter expert (SME) for all vaccine ordering and inventory and waste reconciliation processes and functionalities in SIMON. Provides annual refresher training to unit staff; participates in SIMON testing related to functionality enhancements/changes. Assist in providing vaccine management data collection reports to Vaccine Manager that have been identified in Immz. Cooperative Agreement. Serves as Bridge Access Program (BAP)
Assistant Vaccine Manager:
performs all related duties for all BAP vaccine management, including, but not limited to: Operations support: complete monthly RedCap reports, retrieve data from
COVID-19
finance analyst, manage shared email inbox; manage vaccine ordering cadence, coordinate and manage VTrcks, PIN ID identifications for all BAP providers.
Vaccine Ordering:
Serve as point of contact for vaccine ordering and deliveries, collect and assess vaccine inventory requests from VTrcks.
Inventory Management:
Generate routine and ad-hoc reports to review vaccine inventories in Vtrcks. Serve as the Immunization Provider Ops . units SME for Routine and BAP all CDC VtrckS EXIS ordering process and immunization system software applications and perform refresher training as needed with unit staff in area of expertise, will serve as primary staff person to upload daily vaccine ordering data into CDC VtrckS unless otherwise directed by Vaccine Operations Manager. Attends/participates in scheduled trainings, workshops, in-services, and meetings, shares information as appropriate.
Minimum and Additional Requirements Agency Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and at least two (2) years of relevant experience in public health or a related field. Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Please note that the agency will require an official, certified copy of the transcript or diploma prior to hiring. Preferred Qualifications One (1) or more years of experience with managing employees for Immunization work related programs. Two (2) or more years of experience with software applications related to managing data for Immunization systems. Two (2) or more years of experience in work within state/federal government.
