JOB SUMMARY
Support the successful delivery and execution of our high school residential summer programs. Program Advisors (PAs) are responsible for supervising students and ensuring their physical and emotional well-being during all program activities. PAs will plan and lead student activities that encourage meaningful engagement, working with staff to create inclusive academic, social, and recreational events. Room and Board is provided. Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES

- Program Advisors (PAs) are responsible for supervising students and ensuring their physical and emotional well-being during all program activities, including on-campus sessions, virtual sessions, bus travel, and field trips. They must stay alert to changes in student behavior or health and take action to maintain a safe environment. 30%

- PAs will plan and lead student activities that encourage meaningful engagement, working with staff to create inclusive academic, social, and recreational events. They are expected to foster a positive atmosphere that promotes meaningful student participation and connection. 10%

- PAs will assist students with their academic work and assignments given by instructors throughout the summer. 10%

- PAs are expected to collaborate with fellow Program Advisors and other program staff while openly communicating student concerns and personal needs to CPO staff. Teamwork and clear communication are essential to ensuring program success. 10%

- PAs must attend all required training sessions, staff meetings, and program events to stay informed and fully prepared to support students.
Active participation in all aspects of the program is expected.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
- A high school diploma and relevant program experience.
A bachelor’s degree may be substituted for the required program experience.

INFORMATION
Expected Hourly Rate:
$15.75 Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson’s compensation guidelines.
ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL
Normal Operations Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
