Job Duties :

The ME Review Coordinator performs a variety of duties mandated in the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) to coordinate and execute State corrective action processes and the State’s compliance with the Management Evaluation (ME) Review process. Performs under limited supervision of the Monitoring/ME/ CAP’s Program Coordinator and under the oversight of the Director of County Operations according to the federal and state regulations of the SNAP and TANF Program. Schedules, coordinates and conducts annual, bi-annual, and tri-annual county size visits to accomplish county ME reviews as prescribed in the State ME Plan of Operation. Gathers, analyzes and compiles data and performance statistics, including the coordination of SNAP case reviews, to develop and issue final ME county reports. Reviews and approves county corrective action plan as responses to findings or deficiencies identified through the county ME review process. Monitors individual county progress on corrective action plans. Monitors statewide SNAP performance trends in the areas of program access, payment accuracy, negative case actions, and timely processing of benefits. Perform Red Cross Shelter duty or other emergency welfare services duties as directed. Minimum and Additional Requirements A High School Diploma and a minimum of four (4) years of experience in Economic Services programs. A Bachelor’s Degree may be substituted for four (4) years relevant program experience.
