Job Duties:
The Program Coordinator I is responsible for maintaining communication, procedures, and organization needed to support the TANF Work Program.
Assigns cases to Family Success Coaches (FSC) and Workforce Consultants (WFC) on a daily basis to ensure TANF recipients in the work program are assigned accurately and quickly.
Assigns cases for follow-up on random case sampling efforts for a given month to ensure TANF participation has been accurately entered.
Acts in a back-up capacity for all support services and support services payments for TANF work program participants. Provides various support functions to TANF cases assigned to FSC/WFC staff. This includes acting as a backup to managing two separate, central inboxes which ensure fluidity of SNAP and TANF casework across both county and TANF work program cases.
Perform Red Cross shelter duty or other emergency shelter duty/services as directed. Minimum and Additional Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree and three (3) years of professional experience in social service programs, correctional, education, business administration, general administrative management or relevant program experience.
A Master’s Degree and one (1) year of professional experience in social service programs, correctional, education, business administration, general administrative management, or relevant program experience. Additional Comments
