POSITION OVERVIEW

The Head of the Academy Futures program will be responsible for overseeing the operations and coaching of each age group in the Academy Futures program, including U12, U13, and U14 teams. The person will organize, manage, and prepare all training sessions and games with the respective age groups and create an environment that facilitates development and alignment with Nashville SC’s game model. The person will also be tasked with regional travel to train and identify young prospects from around the state to monitor for the full time Academy teams. The ideal candidate will be an organized individual with operational experience that is able to manage a robust program of multiple teams and age groups, and have a passion for coaching, developing, and identifying talent in youth players.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee the operations of the entire Academy Futures program, including organizing staff, training, matches, and travel each week Direct coaching for U12, U13, and U14 academy teams for all training sessions and matches Translate the club’s core game concepts into training drills and match preparations Organize and run various identification camps and clinics around the state Participate in the scouting and recruitment process for young prospects Understand key data metrics to facilitate feedback and focused development Regularly and clearly report player development progress to key stakeholders Develop positive relationships with local clubs and players and provide relevant feedback Collaborate with other academy departments to integrate program into full time Academy teams Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays as required Travel to away games and annual events/showcases

QUALIFICATIONS
