$42.8K – $54.2K a year 1 day ago Qualifications Mid-level Bachelor’s degree Bachelor of Arts Full Job Description Wrestling Head Coach and Program Coordinator School Overview FRA is a coeducational independent school in Nashville offering pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade students a challenging educational experience within an inclusive Christian community. Summary Oversees the FRA Wrestling program grades 5-12. This includes oversight and hiring of coaches and scheduling. Teaches wrestling activity to students/teams by performing the following duties. Essential Functions The tasks, duties, and responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to: Directly supervises students in Wrestling Activities Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the school’s policies and applicable laws Responsibilities include interviewing, testing, selecting, and training students; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining students; addressing complaints and resolving problems Support Christian mission of Franklin Road Academy. Performing tryout if applicable Assisting to form team schedule Aiding in keeping web page up to date Help submit transportation request Communicate with Athletic DirectorFacilities Director for game day set up Attend all coaches’ meetings Communicate frequently with parents Qualifications Education/Experience Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university required. Three or more years as a coach, minimum one year as a head varsity coach preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Maintains course work for certification as mandated by State and/or SACS.
