Full Job Description Location:

Knoxville, Tn.

Employment Status:

Full-time Hourly rate: $17.50

Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist with application process, client advocacy, and application follow-up to ensure compliance with rules that govern the SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program). Assist with program documentation & detailed monthly reporting. Assist with identifying new outreach opportunities and fulfill the outreach and application goals per grant requirements. Assist with conducting telephone, virtual and in-person outreach events. Assist with directing referrals to internal and external programs and agencies.

Graduation from an accredited four-year high school or GED (some college-level coursework preferred); or Knowledge of the SNAP program and an understanding of the rules, regulations and exceptions that govern the outreach program. Must have excellent communication, organizational, strong attention to detail, interpersonal and decision-making skills. Valid Tennessee Driver license.
