Marketing Full Job Description Position Summary:

This position is responsible for coordinating, planning, and conducting training for Speak up Be Safe program. This position also maintains and communicates information to others regarding Speak up Be Safe program training. This would include but is not limited to the creation and implementation of marketing strategies and recruitment activities, as well as maintaining relationships with the community. This position does not have direct reports. Essential Functions Oversees class management and performance related to Speak up Be Safe program training Presents Speak up Be Safe program classes as needed Establishes and maintains a safe and productive learning environment (i.e. role-plays, question and answer sessions, one on one sessions) Coordinate with the CH SUBS team to receive the needed promotional material to provide to prospective clients Reviews survey responses to improve presentations Collects and enters performance data into the required LMS database as well as completes any additional contract-specific data Be prepared to be a safe adult should any child/teen wish to disclose abuse, and be prepared to support and offer resources for the client Maintains all equipment and supplies in good condition Utilizes own vehicle to travel to conduct training Engages in outreach activities Build relationships with prospective clients involved in educating youth, and promote the CH SUBS program as an effective primary prevention solution Develop and implement a marketing/outreach plan with specific strategies, timelines, and expected outcomes Collaborates frequently in the effort to reach representatives/participants and motivates them to attend and complete Speak up Be Safe program May present short informational or marketing sessions to entice potential customers Acts as a liaison with community organizations striving to partner with a prevention program Travels to conduct outreach activities Certification Maintains current credentials and ongoing trainer development. Successfully completes the Speak up Be Safe program Training for Trainers Workshop and maintains training credentials Participates with supervisor in active self-development as a trainer to support participant growth attendance at consultation meetings and review of consumer feedback Completes required professional training workshops

Administrative:

Attends all required meetings held by the program, funders, and contractors and actively participates in organizational and supervision meetings Provide related documentation in a timely fashion Completed all documentation and reports as required by the program and the contract All other duties as assigned Requirements Education/Experience/Knowledge/Understanding Bachelor’s degree or 1 to 3 years of related experience or of equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of one year of experience in providing trainings and presentations to audiences or minimum of one year’s experience in marketing/sales” Skills Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills to include communicating clearly, effectively, tactfully, and patiently to a diverse population Strong interpersonal skills and demeanor with the ability to build rapport and garner trust with others Proficient in the use of a PC; in a Windows environment; in the use of the Internet; and in the use of MS Office Applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel Abilities Ability to relate and engage both adults and children Ability to present and demonstrate a professional demeanor and appearance Ability to work in a confidential manner, ensuring information is shared with internal and external individuals in an appropriate manner Willingness and ability to embody Childhelp’ s core values of Acting with Honor and Character, Being Open and Receptive, Caring About and Relating to Others; Nurturing Diverse Relationships; Performance Excellence; and Inspirational Leading & Managing Physical Demands Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body
