Job Description

Program Coordinator – Facilities (Support Services) 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 584 Adams Avenue, Memphis, TN 38103 Position Summary Works under the supervision of the CIP manager and is responsible for duties pertaining to the coordination of Capital Improvement Program (CIP) design and construction, renovation projects as well as existing conditions related to current properties.

Pay Grade:

52 Salary Commensurate with Experience and Education Minimum Qualifications 1. Three (3) years’ experience in construction project design and/or management; AND 2. Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a closely related field, OR 3. An equivalent combination of related education and/or experience. 4.

PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

Duties and Responsibilities 1. Coordinates project program requirements between owners, occupants, stakeholders, and designers. 2. Reviews drawings and specifications during project design and construction. 3. Coordinates and documents formal communication between the owner, designer, and/or contractor. 4. Coordinates construction project schedules and budgets. 5. Supports the CIP Manager in the preparation of sealed bids, RFQs, RFPs, contracts, and resolutions. 6. Coordinate the collection and compilation of building and systems equipment information related to construction project design. 7. Performs project site visits, observes progress, and conditions, and prepares Field Reports. 8. Assist with maintaining inventory of building plans and project documents for County facilities. 9. Prepares digital drawings using computer-aided drafting (CAD) software, as needed. 10. Performs other related responsibilities as required or directed. KSAs 1. Skilled in strong communication, conflict resolution, and process development skills. 2. Well-organized and able to manage multiple projects. 3. Ability to work independently and collaborate with others when needed. 4. Ability to deal tactfully with co-workers, consultants, contractors, government officials, and the public. 5. Proficient in Microsoft software, Windows operating system, and AutoCAD. 6. Ability to exercise good judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions. Special Requirements Must possess a valid Tennessee driver’s license or secure one by date of employment.
