Area Coordinator 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars Munford, TN • Remote CIEE is seeking a dedicated and community-oriented individual to join our team as a J1 Area Local Coordinator. As an Area Local Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to support and oversee the cultural high school exchange program for J1 visa participants in your designated area.
Responsibilities:
Recruit, screen, and match host families with J1 visa participants Provide ongoing support and assistance to both host families and participants throughout the program Monitor and ensure compliance with program regulations and guidelines Act as the main point of contact for any issues or emergencies that may arise during the program Maintain accurate records and documentation for each participant in your caseload
Requirements:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and remotely Experience in cross-cultural environments or working with international populations Availability to be on-call for emergencies outside of regular business hours Reliable transportation
