Amazon is looking for a dynamic Program Manager to join our core team in Kindle Ingestion experience under Books org. Come innovate with the Kindle Ingestion experience team! We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Program Manager to oversee the successful migration of major campaigns and manage key metrics related to ticketing, risks, and KPIs across the organization. This role will involve navigating project complexity, ensuring system stability, and aligning engineering efforts with business goals. The Program Manager will be responsible for tracking and reporting on key initiatives, particularly focusing on SAS, Shepherd, and Policy Engine. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including stakeholders within Kindle Ingestion Experience organization. You will ensure that risks are mitigated, systems remain stable, and business objectives are met, while providing transparent reporting and updates on progress. This is a strategic role requiring strong leadership, communication, and project management skills to drive alignment and execution across multiple teams. Key job responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex, cross-functional programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and successful project delivery.
  • Work independently to drive program outcomes, while seeking guidance as needed from relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure effective communication and execution of program objectives.
  • Identify, mitigate, and manage risks and dependencies, keeping the program on track and within scope.
  • Ensure alignment between business requirements, KPIs, and program goals, driving decisions that balance customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to secure resources, set priorities, and define milestones for successful delivery.
  • Apply process improvement methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean) to optimize program execution and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the successful rollout of projects, including testing, launch activities, and post-launch support.
  • Track program success metrics, ensuring clear reporting and documentation for stakeholders and leadership.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
