Shift Day Rotational Hours per week: 40 Salary range: $37.00 – $55.50 per hour, depending on experience. Position Overview and Requirements Responsible for the overall growth, development, and coordinationof UHSH’s Sepsis Program. The sepsis coordinator will work with theemergency department and the multidisciplinary team to evaluate,coach, and provide accountability for key clinical disciplines toensure high-quality, efficient, and coordinated services areprovided to sepsis patients at UHSH. The Sepsis Coordinatordemonstrates advanced knowledge of clinical practice in sepsismanagement, focusing on the oversight and coordination ofinterdisciplinary team efforts regarding sepsis. Demonstratesknowledge of sepsis care across the continuum, influences leadersand leads complex improvement projects for the specialized patientpopulation. Duties include overseeing the sepsis program,management of sepsis protocols and guidelines, data analysis andperformance metrics, and staff education. This position will be located at United Health Services, WilsonMedical Center in Johnson City, NY. The position is salaried,Monday through Friday day shift, with some minor exceptions to workwith employees on the later shift schedules. The ideal candidatewill have 2-5 years of recent ED experience, and the ability tocreate successful working relationships with Physicians, Nurses andmanagement staff. This position ensures timely care of septicpatients through the continuum of care through education, chartreview, multi discipline meetings, and data analysis. #IND2 Education and Experience Minimum Required Bachelors degree 2-5 years clinical nursing experience in the Emergency Department,Critical Care, or working in the inpatient service line.
