Position Details Advertising/Posting Title Food Systems Graduate Program Coordinator Posting Summary Coordinate, create and provide operational services for and represent the Food Systems Graduate Program housed in the Graduate College. Assist the leadership of the Food Systems Graduate Program and participate in programmatic decisions. Oversee operational budget and financial processes and perform financial transactions. Support students’ academic progress and professional development and help foster community and sense of belonging for students. Coordinate and help oversee program events, to include recruitment, orientation, and annual retreat. Coordinate program recruitment and holistic admissions. Foster program community and student sense of belonging. Support curricular planning and program assessment. Liaise between program and food systems initiatives university-wide, including Food Systems Research Institute. Prioritize responsibilities and maintain confidentiality. Collaborate with students, faculty, staff in university units, and perform responsibilities independently and as a member of a team. Report to FS Faculty Program Director and the Dean of the Graduate College. Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Bachelor’s degree and one to three years of related experience required. Effective interpersonal and organizational skills and ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple responsibilities required. Experience in budget planning, tracking, and oversight required. Demonstrated ability to work interdependently and autonomously required. Desirable Qualifications Fluency with Windows OS and Microsoft O?ce suite of programs highly desirable. Experience with UVM software (Peoplesoft, Banner, etc.), Drupal, and webpage implementation highly desirable. Experience working in a College/University setting desirable.
