Our team works closely with other associates and business areas that support Medicare Advantage members in an effort to meet and exceed customer expectations and continue driving toward strategic improvement. Primary Responsibilities The Program Development Department in Quality and Value Based plans, develops and implements projects and initiatives for our provider community to control costs as well as improve quality and operational efficiency. Projects managed align to the goals and objectives of the Quality and Value Based division, corporate strategies and Medical Cost Committee Planning initiatives. Position must interact with all levels of associates within the Company including officers. Incumbent must use the Project Management departmental standards and/or Project Management Institute methodology to manage projects through the steps of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling. It is critical that the incumbent stays knowledgeable of project management techniques and ongoing initiatives throughout the organization. Incumbent must consistently use resources to continuously improve and stay abreast of methodology updates and revisions. The incumbent will be required to attend Project Management training on an annual basis. The incumbent will also help direct efforts of supporting resources related to projects. The incumbent will serve in a project leadership role and is expected to share knowledge and resources to team members to create a favorable, productive environment. Summary of Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field 2 years of experience in a similar position and/or proven experience managing corporate level projects according to assigned responsibilities Experience in a position leading projects from initiation to completion Experience in a position leading projects to improve workflow/productivity and efficiency Experience in a position analyzing business processes and identifying solutions Experience in a position leading and facilitating effective meetings Experience in a position making formal presentations Experience in a position interpreting and communicating information orally and written Experience in a position interacting with all levels of staff internal and external Experience in a position analyzing existing processes and identifying effective solutions Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Project Management Professional (PMP) Project Management Institute (PMI) certification or willingness to obtain PMI or PMP certification within 18 months of hire preferred Experience with the development, implementation and oversight of value-based programs, alternative payment models, and/or proven track record of managing projects/programs that involve quality improvement initiatives and performance metrics preferred Willing to fill at a higher level based on experience.
