Project Manager – Fuel Systems 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Birmingham, AL 35211 Fluid Solutions, LLC, an 18-year company operating in over 150 countries worldwide, is seeking a Fuel Systems Project Manager to assist in the pricing, design, and management of domestic and international Fuel System and Tank Storage projects. The ideal candidate should possess a working knowledge of pumping systems—preferably fuel systems—and the ability to create proposals and working systems based on project-specific specifications and drawing sets. What You’ll Be Doing (Duties of This Position): Pricing and managing domestic and small international fuel system and tank storage projects (Fuel, AFFF, OWS, etc.). Reviewing specifications and drawings to create proposals for functional systems. Pricing regularly offered parts for established and emerging clients. Assisting with submittal production and review in coordination with the Division Manager. Assisting with coordination drawings and reviewing design layouts. Procuring parts and equipment for both international and domestic projects. Assisting in the design and estimation of domestic underground storage tank projects. Interfacing with factories to release orders, establish shipping schedules, and coordinate with logistics for receiving and quality checks. Following up with clients on proposals, submittals, and orders to maintain strong relationships. Traveling as necessary and justified for training, support, and project execution What You’ll Need to Be Considered (Requirements): Knowledge of USTs and/or fuel systems, with a basic understanding of mechanical systems, including pumps and tanks. Ability to put together functional systems based on incomplete or inaccurate drawing sets. Strong organizational and communication skills focused on collaboration, transparency, and attention to detail—across calls, emails, and face-to-face interactions. Customer-centered mindset demonstrating responsiveness, proactivity, and honesty. Eagerness to learn and grow technical knowledge in decentralized treatment and fuel distribution systems.
