Responsibilities:
The Analyst VIII is responsible for formulation of the opinions, decisions and ultimate performance of the tasks. Required experience and the ability to perform detailed and complex calculations plus knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration. Provide review and verification in the receipt of Logistics Product Data and the Digital System Model. Support the monitoring of the performance and progress of the Uncrewed Aircraft System (UAS) Program of Record (PoR) by participating in meetings and program reviews. Use appropriate predictive analyses and modeling tools to develop COAs for the Government consideration of ways to improve material availability and reliability, increase operational availability rates, and reduce operation and sustainment costs. Identify, plan, resource, and develop the documentation required to acquire facilities to enable training, maintenance, and storage to maximize effectiveness of system operation and the logistics support system at the lowest total ownership cost. Plan and identify requirements necessary for fielding support equipment to the Warfighter. Develop and implement appropriate product support arrangements to facilitate achieving desired product support outcomes for the UAS system. Conduct appropriate cost analyses to validate and update product support strategies, including cost-benefit analyses. Assess logistics information required to adjust performance requirements and resource allocations across product support integrators and product support providers, as necessary, to optimize implementation of UAS product support strategies. Review and provide input to, but not limited to, the Acquisition Strategy, Capability Development Document, Capability Production Document, Cost Analysis requirements Description, Independent Cost Estimate, Program Protection Plan, Systems Engineering Plan, and Test and Evaluation Master Plan. Provide administrative staff support in areas such as reception, file management, word processing, scheduling, database maintenance, document preparation, technical writing and documentation, meetings, and conference support. Perform risk management activities, to include identification, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting of risks through the appropriate IPTs. Develop, draft, submit, and update documentation in support of credit card purchases, cell phone service, cable service, and small dollar hardware and software procurements utilizing Computer Hardware Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS). Participate in IPTs and coordinate planning and execution of product related events, reviews, documentation, and demonstrations. Acquisition support via preparation and review of program baselines, develop purchase requests and other required documents. Create and update integrated master schedules for all major programs utilizing Microsoft Project and/or Primavera. The Senior Level Analyst IV is responsible for formulation of opinions, decisions and performance. Experience and the ability to perform detailed and complex calculations plus knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration. Adhere to the company’s AS9100 policies, procedures and guidelines. Other duties as assigned.
Education:
The senior analyst must have a minimum of 20 years of related experience and bachelor (or higher) degree. A bachelor’s Degree in Program Management, Project Management, Business Management, Economics, or related discipline or meet the requisite experience listed below. OR A Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Program Management Professional (PgMP), OR Possess a Level III Program Management Certification from the Defense Acquisition University. Substitution •Three additional years of task related experience (a total of 23 years) may be used in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. Experience Required Required experience and the ability to perform detailed and complex calculations plus knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration. The Senior Level Analyst/Logistician/ Programmer/Specialist/ is responsible for formulation of the opinions, decisions and ultimate performance of the tasks. Preferred Degree in the field of Program Management, Project Management, Business Management, Economics, or related discipline. 15 years of related experience with a bachelor (or higher) degree.
