Full Job Description Overview:

The Project Control Specialist assesses and analyzes program management planning, programming, cost, schedule, and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) management for the purpose of verifying that the required level of resources for development, production and deployment is properly managed, controlled, and planned for the Army Futures Command (AFC) All-Domain Sensing (ADS) Cross-Functional Team (CFT).

Responsibilities:

Participate in reviews, meetings, test and evaluation events, demonstrations, evaluations, exercises, operational assessments and other activities where necessary and provide technical, programmatic, and experiential guidance and recommendations. Analyze and present project status, deliberate transformation objectives and long-range plans, and program accomplishments in relation to program objectives, budgetary constraints, schedules, technical requirements, and risk. Analyze affordability and planning for unique technologies, modifications, and integration guidance for design reviews, milestone reviews, program reviews, program strategy evolution and modernization reviews, and system unique reviews. Collaborate with respective technology leads and program managers to develop technical assessments, briefings, input, and recommendations. Develop recommendation strategies to mitigate resource deficiencies. Analyze schedules and costs to develop recommendations on the development of CFT prototype efforts to support the President’s budget, Budget Estimate Submission (BES), and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) requirements. Qualifications:
Required:

Bachelor’s Degree with 7 years’ experience or more years in the field. Experience in Global Positioning System modernization/M-Code, Global Navigation Satellite System constellations, Assured Positioning, Navigation and Timing Technologies (APNT), and Electromagnetic Warfare; Experience in Acquisition program functions and associated Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBES) processes Requires eligibility for TS//SCI clearance.
