Job Description
Responsibilities
Brasfield & Grie has an exciting opptunity f a Project Manager II in Huntsville, Alabama.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):
▪ Review and finalize project business plan f submission topany seni management.
▪ Wk with field management to generate job specific safety plan f the project.
▪ Serve as the main point of contact f the Owner, Engineer and Architect.
▪ Create staging, logistics, and phasing plan f project.
▪ Lead codination of subcontracts.
▪ Set up bonding and/ Subguard, change der log, and cost tracking measures f the project.
▪ Manage subcontract default insurance/risk mitigation plan f project.
▪ Responsible f overseeing project startup (permits, licenses, jobsite mobilization).
▪ Obtain Builders’ Risk, general liability insurance and bonding as required fpliance with prime contract.
▪ Wk with Pre-Construction and Field Supervision to identify and implement all contract deliverables, quality
testing, and repting requirements.
▪ Facilitate subcontract pre-mobilization/startup meetings.
▪ Issue and administer subcontracts and purchase ders.
▪ Assist in development, planning, and updating of overall project schedule. Attend/direct regular job schedule
meetings.
▪ Create and monit project quality control requirements.
▪ Conduct bi-weekly safety surveys with project superintendent.
▪ Priitize, review and expedite submittals.
▪ Establish project schedule of values, billing and payment application requirements with accounting and
owner.
▪ Understand quantity updating and wk with Superintendents to maintain accurate lab fecasts.
▪ Develop and administer owner, subcontract and purchase der change ders.
▪ Review and approve material/equipment invoices accding to project budget.
▪ Prepare payment requests and monit collections.
▪ Review projections, lab repts, safety documents and schedules on a monthly basis.
▪ Review and estimate project contract changes (drawing revisions, ASI’s, contract change directives) and
codinate with project delivery requirements.
▪ Meet with city and state agencies to review project and inspections.
▪ Lead OAC meetings and create monthly status repts.
▪ Create monthly financial projections f project and review with division management.
▪ Manage and oversee job close-out documentation and procedures (closeout documents, final job rept, and
final accounting).
▪ Ment and train Assistant Project Managers and Co-Op/Intern Students.

    ▪ Bachel’s degree in construction, engineering, related field
    ▪ Minimum of 5 years of construction experience
    ▪ Able to perfm Project Manager I duties proficiently
    ▪ Experience managing all aspects of construction projects including architectural, civil, structural, mechanical
    and electrical
    ▪ Ability to manage multiple projects
    ▪ Wking knowledge of Prolog and other construction software
    ▪ Basic understanding of financial accounting systems
    ▪ Excellent almunication and interpersonal skills
    ▪ Technical writing skills
    ▪ Conflict resolution skills and experience successfully resolving disputes
    ▪ Superianizational skills
    ▪ Ability to multitask
    ▪ Willingness to travel and/ relocate, as both may be required
