Job Description:
JYG is seeking a skilled Project Manager to provide direct support to the Air Force Material Systems Product Line (MSPL) in its mission to develop and sustain critical Health IT applications. This position plays a vital role in coordinating and managing software development efforts across systems such as the Medical Resource Information System (MRS) and Medical Readiness Decision Support System (MRDSS)-both of which are essential to the medical readiness of the U.S. Air Force. The selected candidate will work with multi-disciplinary teams in an Agile/Scrum environment and will be responsible for overseeing project execution in alignment with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a key liaison between the government Product Management Office (PMO) and development teams. Manage project plans, scope, and deliverables using Agile methodology. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Maintain a product roadmap, project schedules, risk logs, and communication plans. Work with stakeholders to gather, define, and prioritize requirements into actionable user stories. Track and report on performance metrics and delivery timelines. Coordinate with system administrators, help desk personnel, and database specialists to support development and sustainment operations. Ensure quality assurance and compliance with Air Force IT standards and federal regulations. Provide regular status updates to PMO leadership and assist with briefing preparation.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of project management experience supporting IT or software development projects. Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence. Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Familiarity with ColdFusion, Java , and Oracle database Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills. Excellent teambuilding and delegation skills. Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification. Experience with federal Health IT systems or medical readiness applications.
