The ERP Project Manager is a Technical / Functional role that provides user support, change management, testing, training, documentation, and general day-to-day operations of the ERP system. This position works cross functionally with business users across the organization and bridges the gap between end users and technical internal and contract developers and analysts to support the ERP system. Job Duties Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Evaluate current ERP functionality and identify areas for improvement, customization, or automation. Translate business needs into functional specifications and technical requirements for development teams or vendors. Assist in ERP implementation, upgrades, and integration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Lead and support system testing (unit, integration, and user acceptance testing). Develop and deliver user training, documentation, and support materials. Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions. Coordinate with ERP vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure system integrity and performance. Monitor ERP system usage and performance, recommending best practices and enhancements. Stay up to date with ERP trends, modules, and industry developments. Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience. 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally with hands-on ERP experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor). Strong understanding of business processes across functional areas such as finance, supply chain, HR, manufacturing, or sales. Experience with ERP configuration, SQL reporting tools, and data analysis. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in business process modeling and project documentation. Project management experience is a plus.
