Summary of Job Duties:
Responsibilities:
The Project Coordinator works under administrative direction and supervision and is responsible for leading and conducting special research studies; monitoring and coordinating project/program activities; developing new projects as directed; independently managing the non-credit training classes including but not limited to production and distribution of communications, venue scheduling, and planning for large meetings; employing, supervising and evaluating faculty and staff; administering grants; scheduling training/classes; adhering to deadlines; attending recruitment events as directed; maintaining inventory; preparing and submitting required applications, budgets, and reports; conducting staff professional development and managing day-to-day, operations of the following programs: Public School Relations, Carl Perkins grant, Early Care and Education project, business and industry customized training, and the community training center. Must be highly organized, and proactive, and have strong project management and multi-tasking skills.

Qualifications:
A master’s degree is required (preferably in education or a related field) with experience in an educational environment; strong interpersonal and excellent written communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with staff, faculty, and students.
