Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee ground-up commercial construction projects in the New Haven area. This is a leadership role with full ownership from preconstruction through closeout on projects ranging from $5M-$40M.

  • Description
  • Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of ground-up construction projects
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and engineers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate and manage all subcontractor activities, contracts, and change orders
  • Drive project schedules and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking
  • Enforce site safety and quality standards in alignment with company policies and OSHA requirements
  • Prepare and lead OAC and internal progress meetings
  • Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams during early project phases
  • Mentor Assistant PMs and Field Staff to support team development
  • Profile
  • 5 years of PM experience managing ground-up commercial projects. Strong scheduling, budget management, and subcontractor coordination skills required.
  • 5-10 years of project management experience in ground-up commercial construction
  • Proven success managing complex builds from breaking ground to final inspection
  • Strong technical knowledge of structural systems, sitework, MEP coordination, and local building codes
  • Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar)
  • Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • A stable project history and ability to manage teams in fast-paced environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
