U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (due to ITAR regulations) About the Role Cyient is seeking a seasoned Project Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support our aerospace engineering business. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership and hands-on guidance across all phases of project development—from concept through delivery. A key focus will be on mentoring talent, developing training programs , and supporting project execution to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes. You’ll serve as a technical advisor, team coach, and process champion, ensuring teams are well-equipped to meet project objectives. Key Responsibilities Serve as a subject matter expert in project management practices within the aerospace engineering domain. Lead or participate in discipline health reviews to assess team and project performance. Provide project schedules as part of engineering gate reviews; revise schedules as needed to align with program updates. Attend regular meetings with IPT and CIPT leads to report status and drive timely completion of deliverables. Track and ensure closure of action items; collaborate with IPT leads and designers to drive resolution. Organize, lead, and contribute to multi-disciplinary team discussions (Design, Structures, Project, Quality, etc.). Identify training needs and skills gaps for both new and existing associates. Design, develop, and deliver training programs to enhance project management proficiency. Mentor and coach associates at all levels, including Team Leads and other members of the leadership team. Conduct weekly meetings with Team Leads and provide structured updates to the leadership team. Collaborate with Team Leads to support individual development plans and team growth. Serve as a leadership backup when needed to ensure continuity and support. Required Qualifications Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, preferably within aerospace or a highly technical environment. At least 5 years of leadership experience with a strong track record in coaching, team development, and process improvement. Proven experience conducting discipline health reviews and leading cross-functional initiatives. Strong background in scheduling, planning, and delivering technical projects in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Job Type:

$90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
