Project Manager North Cove Construction Old Saybrook, CT 06475 At North Cove Construction, we believe that quality and integrity are the cornerstones of our success. We are seeking a passionate Project Manager or skilled Carpenter to work your way to Project Manager, to join our team and uphold our standards of excellence.
Position Overview:
As Project Manager, you will be overseeing all aspects of building projects, ensuring that each phase is executed with precision and aligns with our commitment to quality and integrity. You will work closely with the owners of North Cove Construction. At times, you will serve as a point of contact for clients. You will be coordinating with our skilled team, vendors, and subcontractors to deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
Must be able to understand the goals of a project. Lead building projects to completion while maintaining high standards of quality and integrity. Ensure that client’s needs are met throughout the project. Understand detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, and manage resources effectively. Supervise and mentor carpentry teams and subcontractors to uphold our quality standards. Must be able to monitor progress, safety, and quality, addressing any issues proactively. Foster open and transparent communication with clients, our team, and subcontractors. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery. Ability to maintain a neat, clean, safe, and organized jobsite.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and building codes. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client satisfaction. Commitment to quality workmanship and ethical practices.
