Project Coordinator – Adult & Community Programs (#301) 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars 376 Hartford Turnpike, Hampton, CT 06247 Adult & Community Programs Project Coordinator Full-Time Position Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic and organized Project Coordinator to develop, manage, and expand our community education programs. This role combines program development, community partnership building, and marketing to deliver high-quality enrichment classes and professional certification courses that serve our community’s diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver with strong networking abilities and a passion for lifelong learning. Key Responsibilities Program Development & Management Design, develop, and implement community education programs including enrichment classes and short-term certification courses/workshops Manage program life-cycles from conception through evaluation, ensuring quality delivery and participant satisfaction Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and resources for multiple concurrent programs Monitor program effectiveness and make data-driven improvements Develop curriculum partnerships with subject matter experts and instructors Community Partnerships & Networking Build and maintain strategic partnerships with local businesses, organizations, educational institutions, and community groups Identify and cultivate relationships with potential program sponsors and collaborators Represent the organization at community events, networking functions, and professional meetings Develop referral networks to expand program reach and participant enrollment Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify and address regional barriers to participation, including transportation, accessibility, and other logistical challenges Work with community stakeholders to develop creative solutions that increase program accessibility for diverse populations Marketing & Outreach Collaborate with the marketing department to create and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote programs and increase enrollment Provide program content, messaging, and participant testimonials to support marketing initiatives Lead grassroots recruitment efforts through community connections and direct outreach Work with marketing team to develop materials including brochures, website content, social media posts, and promotional campaigns Coordinate community outreach efforts and word-of-mouth marketing to raise program awareness Serve as the primary liaison between programs and marketing department, ensuring accurate and compelling program representation Funding & Reporting Collaborate with team members to identify and pursue funding opportunities including grants, sponsorships, and partnerships Assist in preparing grant applications and funding proposals Maintain accurate program records and prepare regular reports for leadership and funders Track program metrics, participant outcomes, and financial performance Support budget development and management for assigned programs Required Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Business Administration, or related field Minimum 2-3 years of experience in program coordination, project management, or community education Experience developing and managing educational programs or community initiatives
