18711 Planning Manager The Master Scheduler/ Planning Manager plays a central role in the order fulfillment process by performing the Supply Chain resource management within its location to ensure that Manufacturing delivers on time. The Master Scheduler participates in the monthly Sales, Operations and Resources Planning process by providing the capacity bandwidth within the department and location and participates in executing the results of the Sales, Operations and Resources Plan. Target setting and performance appraisal is to be done jointly by the Manufacturing Director and Global Manufacturing Planner to ensure alignment. Why work for us? We are an expanding international organization where there will be opportunities for global travel as well as career advancement What you’ll be doing Key elements of your role include: Provide a regular overview of planned/available hours for manufacturing resources, as well as reporting the impact on stock and inventory, costs and production
Estimate manufacturing hours and manufacturing lead time necessary for executing orders when they have been obtained and quotations as needed
Prepare and execute options for flexibility within the Supply Chain to meet demand based on the Sales, Operations and Resources plan
Work with Demand Planners on a day to day basis to prioritize current order execution to be able to provide on time delivery
Drawing up and managing planning bills, and playing a leading role in relation to supply-demand strategies What we’re looking for Leading and Initiating Action; Takes responsibility for actions, projects and people; takes initiative and works under own direction; initiates and generates activity and introduces changes into work processes makes quick, clear decisions, which may include tough choices or considered risks

Bachelor or Master degree in Business or Science
3+ years of experience of Resource Planning and Demand management
Experience with ERP systems (e.g.
SAP, DAX
) is preferred
Experience in production control, planning, project management or Sales
Experience with Advanced Planning Schedules (APS) and PLM is preferred What kind of person are you?
