8:00AM-5:00

PM Days of Week:
MONDAY-FRIDAY

Provides project and financial support to all levels of leadership, including the

CEO, COO, & CNO.

Assists in the development and ongoing management of annual operating and capital budgets, to include analyzing variances and communicating areas of concern to leadership. Will lead complex department and hospital-wide projects primarily focused on department-specific initiatives, capital acquisition, associate financial planning and decision support for assigned departments. Will liaise with all departments within the hospital including but not limited to senior leaders, finance, supply chain, accounting, budget and planning, and external vendors. Will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary, high functioning project team, managing multiple projects that significantly impact the hospital.

Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a business related field (e.g., Business, Management, Finance, Accounting) required. Ideal candidate will possess MBA/MHA Degree or will be enrolled in a MBA/MHA Degree program. Three to five years post baccalaureate experience, preferably in a hospital/healthcare environment.

Motor Vehicle Operator Designation:

Employees in this position: Will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a ‘non-frequent driver’

NOTE:

A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job.
