US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED SUMMARY
Performs moderately complex assignments to develop, maintain and report financial and schedule activities of the division. Also develops estimated non-recurring cost and price details associated with proposal submissions. This individual has the responsibility and authority to perform the assigned tasks listed below.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares resource loaded schedules (with estimated cost and price detail) associated with proposed non-recurring effort in direct support of various requests for proposal (RFP). Under limited supervision, collects and maintains financial and schedule activities of all active proposals, programs, and other direct cost accounts of the division. Prepares and maintains all division budget and expense categories and reports as requested on the status of each. Prepares variance reports on all cost accounts to include both financial and schedule variances. Provides an assessment of the cause of each variance. Works closely with all division departments in the preparation and evaluation of cost accounts and budgets. Assists Program and cost account managers in forming and inserting budgets into the Relevant program. Prepares period and other reports using Relevant and associated programs as the primary source of data. Responsible for participating in the quality management system initiatives and adhering to all requirements. Responsible for performing other related tasks deemed necessary by superiors. QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Requires an excellent understanding of program accounting principles as they apply to program management, G&A, overhead and fringe accounts. Must be able to prepare, maintain and report on various capital budget and expense accounts. Requires a minimum high school education with a strong preference for an accounting and/or managerial college degree (including MBA) and a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a similar job function. Proficient in Microsoft Project/Excel for project planning, tracking and resource management. Detailed-oriented ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks. Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
