Raise is currently hiring a Project Controller Associate on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Overview
The Project Controller Associate is an entry-level position in financial planning, project controlling, and business operations.
This position will work closely with senior project controllers, finance managers, and cross functional teams to support various financial processes while gaining hands-on experience in a global, high-tech environment.
Responsibilities
Financial Planning Support:
Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for key programs under the guidance of the Project Control Manager.
Data Entry & Reconciliation:
Ensure accurate and timely entry of financial data related to revenue, costs, and billing in accordance with internal policies.
Variance Analysis:
Support tracking of actuals against budgets and forecasts, assisting in identifying discrepancies and trends.
Project Tracking:
Monitor the financial health of ongoing programs by updating dashboards and maintaining tracking tools.
Reporting Assistance:
Assist in generating internal monthly financial reports and preparing documentation for external audits.
Learning Company Finance Tools:
Gain exposure to financial systems and tools used within the company for project controlling and financial analysis.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field with 1-4+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 0-2+ years of relevant experience.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
Basic understanding of financial principles (budgeting, forecasting, P&L, etc.)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a structured, collaborative environment.
Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Accounting and project control appetite.
ERP System understanding.
Strong skills in Office 365, especially in Excel.
Familiarity with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) is a plus but not required.
