Southeast Florida (Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade Counties)

Position:

Full-Time, In-Office (Not Remote)

Experience:

1-2 Years in Commercial Construction We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join our dynamic team in Southeast Florida. This full-time, in-office position is ideal for individuals with 1-2 years of experience in commercial construction, specifically in doors and hardware. As an APM, you will play a pivotal role in supporting project management efforts, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and schedules. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Monitor and track project progress, addressing any issues or delays promptly. Assist in the procurement process, including obtaining quotes and preparing purchase orders. Participate in project meetings and provide updates to senior project managers.

Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on doors and hardware preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Knowledge of construction project management software is a plus.

Preferred:

Experience with commercial door and hardware specifications and installations.
