As the trusted energy advisor, FirstService Energy aims to improve energy efficiency, lower energy costs, and reduce carbon emissions for all FirstService Residential managed properties. Job Overview:
FirstService Energy is looking for someone with a passion for the energy industry and strong interpersonal skills. This person will need to build great relationships with internal associates and external stakeholders and be able to articulate complex information concisely. This position will primarily focus on building performance standards programs which will include research, communications, administrative, billing, and pre-sales coordination. This position is intended to help drive qualified incoming leads into our programs while analyzing the portfolio for more opportunities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Oversee assigned programs from initial development to monthly deliverables. Maintain tracking systems for help desk tickets, email inbox, surveys, and workflows. Research candidates for programs and follow up with managers and boards. Develop and manage relationships with vetted partners and stakeholders. Create monthly communications and coordinate webinars or in-person events. Ensure projects are billed and fees collected promptly in collaboration with accounting. Provide monthly sales and billing reports to leadership. Update SOPs for all assigned programs and promote services with marketing teams. Evaluate program effectiveness, gather feedback, and recommend improvements. Ensure regulatory compliance and research requirements for various regions. Build relationships with property managers, vendors, and stakeholders for growth. Manage assigned compliance initiatives and programs, including presentations, proposals, and partnerships. Assist with developing BERDO, BEUDO, and BEPS programs for sales and management. Support energy advisors by tracking energy projects, applications, and communications. Follow safety precautions, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
Skills and qualifications:
Undergraduate Degree (business, sustainability, or another related field); 2-3 years of office work experience preferably in a sales, administration, or project coordination role; Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills with a detail-oriented work ethic. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and internet research skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills across all staff levels. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle pressure. Experience managing sensitive or confidential information with professionalism. Capability to work both independently and collaboratively while identifying business opportunities. Proven experience preparing cost analyses and documenting project/client requirements.
Preferred but not required:
Experience with third-party software’s; EPA Portfolio Manager, EnergyCap, Avid Suite, Monday’s.com and ClickUp Experience in working with utility bill data

Compensation range:
