Project Coordinator Position Available In Broward, Florida

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team in Deerfield Beach, Florida. In this Contract position, you will play a key role in supporting the administrative needs of construction projects to ensure they are completed efficiently and within established timelines and budgets. This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary liaison between the Superintendent and Project Management teams.
• Track and monitor owner change orders and subcontractor modification requests.
• Manage the processing and distribution of submittals, ensuring timely and accurate handling.
• Oversee administrative compliance with owner-mandated processes and requirements.
• Log and distribute plan revisions as needed to keep all stakeholders informed.
• Verify subcontractor and vendor compliance, including insurance validation and worksite approvals.
• Coordinate the shipping of plans and material samples as requested.
• Handle requests for information and ensure prompt responses when necessary.
• Distribute bulletins and project notices in alignment with project requirements.
• Execute closeout and archiving tasks, including preparing manuals, reconciling workbooks, and maintaining legal files. Requirements
• Proven experience in project coordination or a similar administrative role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication skills for effective email correspondence and inbound/outbound calls.
• Ability to schedule appointments and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with construction processes and terminology is highly preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in document management and compliance tracking.
• Customer service expertise, particularly in handling inquiries and coordinating information.
• Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records.
