Project Manager Position Available In Broward, Florida

Job Description Our distribution client is looking for a technical Project Manager to join their team in Miramar or Dallas. The team is overseeing a few different projects, including standing up a new API management system, initially conducting the proof of concept and then doing the implementation. They are also working to create a portal for internal developers to manage and administer the APIs. The Project Manager’s time will be split between that initiative as well as working with their vendor on a tableau upgrade project. Ultimately, the Project Manager must be technically sound and comfortable working with engineers, architects, and other individuals. They will provide overall coordination of project-oriented work efforts and establish processes and methodologies to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget. About 60% of their role will be focused on execution of the project, 20% on strategy, and 20% on supporting the team and building their capabilities. The hourly rate is between $58-64/hr. • 5+ years of project management experience, specifically related to application development projects
• PMP certification
• Strong background in working with architects, cloud engineers, and other stakeholders
• Familiar with API management systems, ideally having implemented it prior
• Experience with budget management
• Great communication and time-management skills
• Experience with tableau
