⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Plumber Project Manager (Naples) Acres & Son Plumbing 5701 Houchin Street near Suite 1 compensation: based on experience employment type: experience level: senior level job title: Plumber Project Manager Acres Plumbing, based in Naples, Florida since 1974, is looking for an experienced Plumbing Project Manager to join our growing company. The person in this position must have a strong understanding of plumbing, and project management; 5+ years of plumbing experience; and good computer software skills. The person who fills this position must be able to manage projects from startup to end of the warranty period, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budget. The person in this position will be the liaison between Field Operations, office personnel, and outside contractors to help ensure the projects are completed on time and under budget.
- Must have knowledge of current plumbing code
- Read blueprints and layout the plumbing for jobs
- Review scope and transition project from Estimating to Operations
- Write up and submit change orders to the Contractor for extra work or potential extra work and maintain and manage a change order log for each project to help with faster approvals.
- Generate Purchase Orders and purchase materials. If Purchase Order exceeds the limit of authority, meet with the VP of Plumbing for approval.
- Coordinate with the Supervisor or Foreman on scheduling to ensure material is ordered and delivered at the required dates.
- Complete the schedule of values during the billing cycle and review it with the VP of Plumbing.
- 5+ years of experience Plumbing Project Management
- Must have experience with large commercial and high-rise condominium projects
- Excellent understanding of building timeline and procedures
- Valid driver’s license with a Clean driving record
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; clarity and respect!
