Position Summary The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing high-impact construction projects while managing associated financial aspects. This dual-role position ensures all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The successful candidate will bridge field operations and back-office financial planning, ensuring smooth coordination between construction, accounting, procurement, and executive teams. Key Responsibilities Construction Project Management Manage subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and site teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery. Monitor project execution through site inspections, quality audits, and schedule reviews. Ensure all work complies with relevant safety and building regulations. Coordinate permits, inspections, and logistics with local and state authorities. Financial Oversight & Cost Control Create and maintain accurate project budgets, including forecasting and cost tracking. Perform cost-benefit analyses and risk assessments throughout project lifecycles. Oversee procurement processes to ensure cost-effective purchasing and contract compliance. Review and approve contractor pay applications, change orders, and invoice reconciliations. Generate financial reports and provide budget variance explanations to senior leadership. Stakeholder Management & Reporting Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal departments. Provide regular updates to stakeholders through written reports, dashboards, and presentations. Facilitate project meetings, progress briefings, and conflict resolution efforts. Process Improvement Identify and implement process improvements in both construction operations and financial reporting. Develop and document standardized procedures for budgeting, procurement, and project tracking. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Finance, or related field. MBA or PMP certification is a plus. 5-8 years of experience in construction project management with a strong financial focus. Experience with mid- to large-scale industrial construction projects preferred. Skills & Competencies Proficient in financial modeling, budgeting, and capital expenditure reporting. Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and within tight deadlines. Working Conditions Mix of office-based work and on-site project oversight. Travel may be required. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
