Project Manager Sales Advisors of Florida Jacksonville, FL Job description Overview We are looking for a Project Manager/Territory Manager who is familiar with the wastewater industry for our North Florida and South Georgia territory to join our team. This role requires proficiency in uncovering new project opportunities, delivering over the top on site customer service and project management skills including scheduling and coordination, ensuring that all project milestones are met while adhering to quality standards and safety regulations.
This position requires approximately 60% travel, primarily by car, with occasional overnight stays. While this position is a work-from-home and fully remote position, the ideal candidate must live in the territory. U.S. Submergent Technologies (USST) is the premier service provider for restoring the capacity of wet infrastructure. Specializing in submergent cleaning of sand, grit, and debris from hard-to-clean environments, USST operates in a variety of industries including wastewater/stormwater, oil and gas, power plants and more. USST is seeking to add a qualified Territory Manager to its North Florida/South Georgia territory region. This person is responsible for generating new sales of USST services in an underdeveloped market while also managing project kickoff and completion timelines.
Main Duties:
Prospect and develop new customer relationships with key account personnel in geographical areas where there is currently little or no business. Maintain and grow existing customer accounts by providing consistent face-to-face support and expert consultation. Perform site visits and collect accurate client data and measurements, assist with the development of job estimates and quotes. Serve as a technical resource for clients, explaining how the process works and what they can expect when working with us. Generate related sales leads for a sister company. Work collaboratively with operations to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery and support. Maintain accurate data documentation and current sales reporting metrics within the company’s CRM System (HubSpot) Achieve agreed upon quarterly sales objectives. Attend client, company, and industry meetings and/or relevant conferences as needed or required to grow the existing client base within the designated territory.
Skills & Experience:
Familiarity and knowledge of wastewater/stormwater, oil and gas, or power plant and /or other utility industries is required. A successful history of selling and project management in and opening new markets. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read, comprehend and articulate complex issues to both technical and non-technical individuals. Strong team player. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems; HubSpot preferred. While a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred, an associate’s degree or equivalent is required, combined with at least 7 years of project manager experience that included selling solutions. Must have a valid driver’s license, safe driving history, active automobile insurance, and a reliable vehicle as personal vehicle will be used frequently for business travel (company will provide a monthly automobile allowance and mileage reimbursement as part of the compensation package).
