We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Manager to oversee and manage our roofing projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Job Summary:

The Construction Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and completion of residential and commercial roofing projects. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing systems, including shingles, tiles, and metal, as well as excellent project management and communication skills. The Construction Manager will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects meet our high standards and exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

○ Oversee all aspects of roofing projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and execution. ○ Develop and maintain project timelines and budgets. ○ Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards. ○ Manage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers. ○ Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety and quality.

Material and Resource Management:

○ Order and manage materials, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness. ○ Coordinate equipment and labor resources. ○ Maintain accurate records of materials and labor.

Client Communication:

○ Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns. ○ Ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. ○ Conduct pre-construction meetings and final walk-throughs.

Safety and Compliance:

○ Enforce safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment. ○ Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations. ○ Conduct safety meetings and maintain safety documentation.

Quality Control:

○ Ensure all roofing installations meet our high standards of quality and craftsmanship. ○ Conduct quality inspections and address any deficiencies. ○ Experience with installation of different roofing systems including shingles, tiles, and metal roofing.

Financial Management:

○ Monitor project budgets and control costs. ○ Approve subcontractor invoices and material requisitions. ○ Provide regular financial reports to management.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager, preferably in the roofing industry.
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial roofing systems, including shingles, tiles, and metal.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Bachelors degree in construction management, or related field is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
