Wanted: Project Manager Ready to Make an Impact Position Available In Duval, Florida

Job Description:

We are seeking a project manager in Jacksonville, FL for a 6-9month part-time assignment (20-30 hours a week) to lead theexecution of a project across Product, Network, Care Management,and other impacted areas to drive alignment with a new healthcareruling for mental health parity. In the role the project managerwill: ?Follow an organized process to initiate the effort, plan projectactivities and deliverables, coordinate project execution andcommunications, ensure quality assurance and control, and close theproject. ?Collaborate with Care Management, Network, Product, BusinessRelationship Management, and vendor(s). ?Ensure all stakeholders are aware of project activities, schedulemeetings, capture action items, communicate status, and develop andtrack activities on the work plan. ?Responsible for the overall management, communications,coordination of project work and problem solving with multiplelevels of management. ?Utilize project management processes and methodologies to ensureprojects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to highquality standards and meet customer expectations. ?Create business case, charter, scope documents, etc. and determineproject cost, value, and ROI. ?Research and develop project timelines, deliverables, resources,tasks & dependencies based upon the project capability. ?Maintain project level work breakdown structure by trackingevents, tasks, dependencies, and progress within a projectplan. ?Closely manage project budgets to ensure budget adherence andidentify discrepancies in planned versus actual cost. ?Communicate project status and advise project team, customers, andstaff on tactical solutions to dealing with barriers within aproject. ?Lead, manage, and coach project team members, involvingintegration with Care Management, Product, Network, an BusinessRelationship Management. ?Work with all levels of management, including senior leadership ,to ensure projects stay on task and barriers are removed in atimely manner.

Job Requirements:

Required:

?Bachelors’ degree or equivalent work experience ?Two or more years project management experience managinghealthcare related projects with healthcare delivery systemcomponents (Care Management, Provider Practice Management, NetworkManagement, Provider Relations) ?Demonstrated experience with the concepts, theories, and processesof Project Management Methodology ?Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,PowerPoint) and SharePoint ?Advanced PC skills

Preferred:

?Advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, practices andprocedures associated with project management ?Master’s degree ?Certified Project Management Professional •Hours and days will vary depending on the amount of work and theavailability of the project team members.
