The Architectural Project Manager is responsible primarily for leading architecture team for the assigned division, reviewing construction drawings for new house-types and revisions to existing house types. May also assist in Drafting Construction drawings when necessary. The Architectural Project Manager manages architectural issues as they arise, ensuring architecture department standards and procedures are followed. Performing such other tasks as may be necessary in the day-to-day operation of our Architecture Department.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide plan clarification and plan distribution to construction, purchasing, sales and marketing staff Execute architectural plan adjustments as needed Assist in the updating of reports, including the Architectural Schedule and Plan Portfolio May be responsible for drafting and preparation of construction drawings, when necessary, and assist in developing new product from completion of design phase through completion of construction documents and permit sets Execute architectural deliverables to Purchasing, Estimating, Construction, Marketing, and Sales departments Coordinate building systems including structural, mechanical, plumbing, and civil Complete all other duties as assigned by manager Represent the company professionally in all internal and external interactions and communications Adhere to company safety standards and help promote a safe working environment Adhere to and promote the mission, vision, and values of
Stanley Martin Position Standards:
Strong Project Management skills Team Player Attention to Detail Knowledge of MS Office Organizational Skills Positive Attitude Strong Communication Skills (written, graphic, and verbal)
Position Requirements:
2-year associates degree required 4-year college degree preferred but not required Residential construction required Exceptional Autocad skills, with knowledge of Autocad Architecture preferred
