We’re seeking a Assistant Project Manager to oversee customer improvement projects across our portfolio. This individual will coordinate all aspects of interior construction, from project scoping through completion, ensuring all work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop scope of work and job cost estimates for customer improvement projects Collaborate with internal space planners, leasing professionals, and customers to define project requirements Maintain and update a pricing database for customer improvement work Conduct walk-throughs of existing spaces to assess project requirements Participate in contractor and subcontractor selection for negotiated work Secure necessary permits for all construction activities Review and manage contractor schedules, ensuring alignment with project timelines Coordinate site access for contractors, subcontractors, and vendors Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and quality control Manage interruptions to building utilities and coordinate with property operations as needed Schedule and obtain all required inspections, including final approvals Create and manage project punch lists and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items Facilitate smooth project turnover to customers, property management, and leasing teams Manage change orders with proper customer approval before implementation Review and approve contractor invoices and payments Track project costs and report budget variances within 30 days of project close-out Support property management teams with building renovations and repairs as needed Ensure all work meets or exceeds project specifications and internal standards Collaborate with teams on major maintenance and capital improvement projects

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field 3 years of construction management experience, ideally in commercial interiors or customer improvements Experience supervising on-site work for a developer, owner, brokerage firm, or general contractor Familiarity with commercial building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical Proficient in

Microsoft Word and Excel Requirements:

Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Effective problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Physical Requirements:
