Job Description
Assistant Project Manager- Waterproofing We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the planning and execution of large-scale waterproofing projects. The APM will work closely with the Project Manager and project teams to ensure successful project delivery from pre-construction through completion. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your construction management career.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and documentation. Coordinate project logistics, materials procurement, and subcontractor scheduling. Support the Project Manager in day-to-day project administration, reporting, and communication. Track and manage RFI’s, submittals, and change orders. Act as a liaison between field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. Participate in client meetings and site visits to support project updates and issue resolution. Foster a collaborative and proactive project environment. Support implementation of quality control procedures and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Assist in job site inspections and ensure documentation complies with company and regulatory standards. Assist in monitoring project costs and budgets. Help prepare billing, invoicing, and cost tracking reports. Review subcontractor pay applications and vendor invoices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 1-3 years of experience in construction project support, ideally in waterproofing. Familiarity with project management software (Procore, Foundation, MS Project, Primavera, or similar). Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and industry best practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
