ROLE SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The resource management specialist’s role ensures all Form 10 projects are staffed and resourced appropriately to ensure the successful on time/on budget delivery of services to our end customers. The resource management specialist will collaborate with project managers, department heads and other stakeholders to assess resource requirements, develop plans and allocate resources accordingly. He/she will assess project demands, analyze resource utilization and make informed decisions to optimize resource allocations. The resource management specialist is also responsible for maintaining accurate resource records, tracking resource utilization and identifying potential bottlenecks that may impact project timelines and deliverables.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
Analyzes project demands, resource availability and constraints to develop effective resource allocation plans. Collaborate with project managers, department heads and stakeholders to understand resource requirements and project timelines. Works with the recruiting team to ensure ample qualified staff are available for each project to meet project go-live dates and deadlines. Develops and implements resource planning strategies to align resource allocation with project demands and organizational goals. Optimizes resource utilization by identifying and resolving conflicts, bottlenecks or imbalances in resource allocation. Maintains accurate resource records and documentation, including resource schedules, utilization reports and allocation decisions. Plans travel and related logistics for all projects. Collaborates with the People Operations Department to ensure all Form 10 resources always have the appropriate project background clearances. Escalates concerns with project staffing levels and/or pipeline availability to Project Managers, Operations Manager and Director of People Operations. Responsible for presenting staffing updates in team meetings to the project management team and other stakeholders. Other duties as assigned or requested.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND ABILITIES
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resource management, or related field preferred.
- Three years’ experience in human resources, talent acquisition, project management or related field.
- Excellent attention to detail and timeline deliverables.
- Detailed understanding of Microsoft Office Suite; working knowledge of MS Project preferred.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Must be able to write clearly and concisely.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess resource demands and optimize resource allocation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
There are generally no travel requirements for this role. Occasionally, however, the resource management specialist may be asked to join a local area project to familiarize oneself with the nature of specific project work.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
