Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Project Manager to join our team at Rhino Restoration, a family owned leading provider of property damage restoration services in the Tampa Bay area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency water, mold and fire damage situations, including water extraction, drying, dehumidification, containment, remediation, and ensuring proper cleaning and sanitation of affected areas. You will work directly with and lead other Restoration Technicians and effectively communicate with the customers to restore their properties to pre-damage conditions and help minimize further damage, ensuring complete customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
Respond to
Emergency Water Damage Calls:
Quickly and efficiently respond to water damage emergencies (floods, leaks, storm damage, etc.), often outside of regular business hours.
Documentation/Reporting:
Report all relevant moisture readings, equipment used, and images in the documentation software.
Sales/Closing Jobs:
Skill in closing jobs when you respond to them and show up on site. Treat customers with respect and earn their trust to move forward with Rhino Restoration.
Water Extraction:
Use commercial-grade equipment, such as pumps, vacuums, and extraction units, to remove standing water from affected areas.
Drying and Dehumidification:
Set up and operate air movers, dehumidifiers, and other equipment to thoroughly dry and dehumidify affected areas.
Damage Assessment and Documentation:
Perform detailed assessments of water damage and document affected areas with photos and written reports. Work closely with insurance adjusters to ensure accurate claims processing.
Mold Prevention and Cleanup :
Identify potential mold growth areas, and assist with the application of mold preventatives when necessary.
Cleaning and Sanitizing:
Clean and sanitize affected areas to prevent secondary damage and health risks.
Customer Communication:
Maintain clear communication with customers, explaining the restoration process and providing status updates. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Equipment Maintenance:
Regularly inspect, clean, and maintain restoration equipment to ensure its proper functioning.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety procedures, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure that all work complies with industry standards and regulations (e.g., IICRC standards, OSHA).
Collaboration and Teamwork :
Work as part of a restoration team, collaborating with supervisors and technicians to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time.
Post-Job Clean-Up:
Ensure that all work areas are thoroughly cleaned up and free of debris before completing the job and leaving the property.
Qualifications:
Experience :
Prior experience working restoration jobs.
Certifications :
IICRC Certification in Water Damage Restoration (WRT) preferred. Additional certifications in mold remediation or fire damage restoration are a plus.
Physical Requirements :
Must be able to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds), climb ladders, and work in challenging environments (e.g., confined spaces, wet or flooded areas).
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in using water extraction and drying equipment. Ability to operate basic hand tools and equipment safely.
Customer Service Skills :
Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor when dealing with customers, insurance adjusters, and other team members. Attention to

Ability to thoroughly assess damage, follow protocols, and ensure no details are overlooked.
Problem-Solving Skills :
Strong ability to think critically and find solutions in high-pressure situations.
Availability :
Must be available for emergency on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
Transportation :
Valid drivers license and vehicle.
Benefits & Compensation:
