Pay Grade:
$50,000-$76,335 depending on experience Reports to: VP Job Summary The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will support the planning, coordination, and execution of multi-family construction projects. This role involves assisting the Project Manager in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. The APM will work closely with various stakeholders and contribute to the overall success of the projects. Duties Assist with the development and management of project schedules, budgets, and resources. Monitor project progress and assist in resolving issues that may impact the timeline, scope, or quality. Support the Project Manager in communicating with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors. Ensure all parties are informed of project status, changes, and updates. Assist with preparation and management of project documentation including contracts, change orders, submittals, RFIs, and daily reports. Help source and order materials and equipment for the project, ensuring timely delivery and cost control. Support the tracking of project budgets and expenditures. Assist in identifying potential cost-saving opportunities and help ensure projects remain within budget. Ensure the project site follows all safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Assist in monitoring quality standards and help address any quality issues on site. Skills Experience in Construction or project coordination. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project), Procore, AutoDesk, or similar project management software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Ability to identify problems early and propose solutions to keep projects on track. Familiarity with multifamily construction processes, contracts, and regulations is a plus.
