We are seeking a full-time Senior Project Manager tooversee the construction and delivery of both new construction andrenovation projects ranging from $10
- $130+ million.
Jobresponsibilities include:
Oversee total project supervision effortto ensure appropriate personnel, budget, and schedule are met.
Setup and Lead all pre-award subcontractor meetings in advance ofstarting project. Proficient understanding of owner contractualagreements AIA and/or Public Entities in addition to a proficientunderstanding of subcontract terms and conditions. Support theSuperintendent with on-site safety and administration of safetyculture and program. Assist with the growth and development ofPM’s, APm’s and PE. Assist Preconstruction Manager through thepreconstruction process including Estimates Subcontract ScopingNarratives and Qualifications Schedule

- Super develops schedule Participate in the planning andformulation of design alternatives and solutions for majorconstruction projects Reviews and interprets proposed designs, andbuilding specifications for appropriateness to required functionand/or institutional standard, and initiates revisions whereappropriate; advises consultants and clients as to how best toachieve required results Responsible for ConstructionAdministration including: Oversight to all Subcontractingadministration Authorizes the issuance of contracts, purchaseorders, and change orders, and approves contractor invoices forpayment Project Insurance policies•GL and/or Builders RiskAcquiring permit and Permit revisions Oversight and management ofProject Engineer and if assigned a Project Administrator PayApplications Processing changes•acquiring pricing, reviewing forcompliance and fairness and submitting to owner.
Owner ChangeOrders Jointly support the Superintendent in creation and executionof the Project schedule and 3-week planners Manage and oversightfor the Project Engineer/Assistant PM and their duties: SubmittalSchedules Submittals Material & Equipment Procurements Requests forInformation Manages construction budget throughout project Expediteand monitor material and equipment approval Receive, price andincorporate changes in the scope of work Client satisfactionInitiate job close-out and secure all required documentation.
Project Close-out Final Payment and retention release AccountingReconciliation The ideal candidate will possess: Education andexperience: 4-year degree in construction related curriculum 1-5years’ experience with a commercial general contractor/constructionmanagement firm.
Construction background:
Must have knowledge ofsubcontractors, purchase orders, contracts with owners, payapplications, bonds, permits, general construction knowledge.

Accuracy is critical for success in this role.
Candidate must have superior organizational, communication (bothwritten and verbal) decision-making skills and the ability to workeffectively in a team environment.
Tech know how:
Proficient withMicrosoft Office, including Excel and Word. Experience withconstruction software is preferred.
