Compile metrics on IT project success, attributes, and productivity. Guide project managers and leaders in applying and improving project management processes. Provide administrative support and maintain project-related documentation and templates. Ensure effective communication between project managers and assigned staff. Gather and document business strategy objectives, translating them into application and infrastructure requirements. Act as a liaison between Application Services and other business units. Analyze technical challenges in relation to current and future business environments and recommend integration strategies. Identify and improve processes, documenting gaps, designing new workflows, and establishing performance measures. Conduct continuous reviews to ensure processes align with changing business conditions. Monitor and maintain quality assurance processes and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies. Support business process redesign for remediation, modernization, and migration efforts. Assist with feasibility studies, business case documentation, and requirements prioritization. Translate high-level business needs into detailed functional specifications. Coordinate project schedules, implementation plans, and documentation. Present insights to management, business users, and technical teams. Support User Acceptance Testing by drafting and executing test cases, then documenting results. Evaluate critical data, synthesizing executive-level summaries and detailed analyses. Develop standardized desk procedures with clear workflows and narratives. Establish and oversee knowledge transfer activities.
Requirements:
The qualified candidate will have: U.S. Citizenship (Required) Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or financial-related field Five (5) years of professional work experience. Familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, and best practices, including those outlined by the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). Understanding of quality assurance and control principles, techniques, and tools, along with the capability to implement them effectively. Awareness of transportation technology operations. Proficiency in project management, process management, and defining business systems requirements. Capable of generating clear and comprehensive functional documentation that thoroughly reflects business processes and the associated inputs and outputs of applications. Skilled in analyzing and accurately defining processes and workflows to create efficient information solutions, identifying any missing or redundant functionalities in current applications. Adept at planning, organizing, coordinating, and prioritizing work assignments for oneself as well as for junior team members. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Knowledgeable about project management methodologies and agile practices. Familiarity with Rules 60GG-1 through 5, F.A.C.
