  • In this role, you will lead and execute complex engineering projects related to transmission lines, ensuring they meet client and internal performance indicators.

Your focus will be on maintaining schedule and budget performance, enhancing project profitability, and fostering strong client relationships and satisfaction. Quality control will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities. As a Transmission Line Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to supervise and mentor other team members, including Project Engineers, and Designers. Collaboration is at the heart of our work, and you will work closely with peers, senior technical Leads, and engineers to achieve project goals. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate fee revenue forecasts and ensuring that our engineering practices align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and technical innovations. Additionally, you will play an active role in sales calls and client presentations, showcasing our expertise and commitment to excellence.   • Key Responsibilities:
  • + Plan, organize, supervise and otherwise manage the engineering and design of transmission line facilities.

+ Lead and manage the execution of transmission line projects ranging from 69kV to 500kV. + Develop project proposals, estimates, and execution plans. + Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver innovative project solutions. + Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering and design teams. + Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members. + Clearly define performance expectations. Review and reward job performance within the organization to align individual performance with business goals. + Develop employee skills as required for workload, help employees to reach their potential and establish plans to set and achieve challenging career goals. + Travel as necessary for client meetings and site visits.

  • Required Qualifications:
  • + Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited university.

+ Professional Engineering license is preferred. + PMP certification is a plus. + Minimum of 5 years of transmission line work experience. + Proficiency in PLS software. + Strong leadership and team management skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Ability to lead projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
