Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager will provide an oversight for managing projects of varying size and complexity. This position is responsible for leading, directing and coordinating the day-to-day management and execution of construction projects. You are expected to manage client expectations and maintain client relationships. You will provide business development support, site development, permitting support, scope development, contract negotiations, procurement contracts, construction contracts, construction activities, commissioning, and transition to commercial operations related to fiber optic drops and installations or construction.

 Albany, GA. , Alma, GA., Calhan, CO., Chiefland, FL., Clewiston, FL., Clinton, MO., Colorado Springs, CO., De Kalb, MS., Farmerville, LA., Hawkinsville, GA., Okemah, OK., Oktaha, OK., Piedmont, MO., South Wilmington, IL., St. Augustine, FL., Thomasville, GA.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Work with clients to plan, execute and bring projects to completion on time and on budget
Collaborate with the site Project Managers throughout the life of the project to develop comprehensive project plans and to manage all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training, and status reports
Manage RFI’s, submittals, process all Change Orders and billing of invoices, etc.
Maintain and develop client relationships
Motivate and direct the team to ensure the delivery of a successful project Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals
Make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
Regularly communicates and presents project schedules and statuses
Report and escalate to management as needed
Perform risk management to minimize project risks Meet with subcontractors to ensure they understand their role in the project
Conduct quality checks and enforce company standards
Out-of-town travel may be required at times due to the multiple projects in other cities and states.
Provide training or communication to disseminate pertinent information as required
Customer service, including the ability to work with high profile and high demand customers
Adherence to state and federal laws, including adherence to traffic laws

Qualifications:

 All positions require participation in the federally compliant FMSCA drug and alcohol testing program. This includes both pre-employment and ongoing random testing. Bachelor’s degree or relative work experience
A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Project Manager with examples of large project completion in fiber optics installation or construction
Must be able to read house plans other job site related documentation
Advanced communications skills in both written and verbal disciplines
PMP, PMI, or PM certification a plus Working knowledge of MS Office 365, MS Outlook, SharePoint, Windows operating systems, Google Drive and usage of reporting tools, ie Oracle/Hyperion, BI tooling
Flexibility and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

18 years or older due to hazardous occupation.

Valid driver’s license for required travel Employer conduct motor vehicle record check and criminal background

Ability to work in tight spaces & at ladder height
