The Assistant Project Managerworks with the Project Manager in running the day-to-day projectmanagement operations on the job. Responsibilities Log-in and trackContracts & Purchase Orders Use experience and judgment to price,approve and/or reject Project Change Orders, Submittals, andrespond to Requests for Information Log-in, track and review shopdrawings and submittals and respond to Requests for InformationRequest Insurance Certificates from subcontractors to review forcompliance with the Company’s insurance requirements Create andupdate Vendor and Subcontractor Contact Log Price and createProposed Change Orders Submit, track response and issue Requestsfor Information Responsible for managing the building permitprocess and resolving any issues related thereto Plan revisionsubmissions to municipality Work with Company Attorneys oncontracts, Insurance Certificates, Insurance discrepancies &Contract modifications Act as a liaison with subcontractors toresolve any disputes, questions, or issues related tosubcontractor’s work and progress. Assist with Project ScheduleNarratives Take Weekly Video and distribute to General ManagerCreate Weekly Meeting Minutes – Owner’s and Subcontractors meetingsSet up coordination meetings with Subcontractors Distribute reviseddrawings to Subcontractors Using best judgment, write updescriptions for Purchase Orders and Subcontract RequestsResponsible for obtaining and tracking Subcontractor warrantycertificates Responsible for creating close-out manuals Conductstraining for OSHA 10 or 30 Hour, HAZWOPER, and other Safety relatedtopics Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in applicable discipline 2years of related experience or completion of our Career StartProgram as a Project Engineer or Project Engineer with another firmThe ability to manage and embrace change. Respond and adapt to newprocesses and new ways of looking at old problems Computer LiterateGood communication skills Accurate with an attention to detailCandidate must possess our
