Assistant Project Manager 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars 127 Pleasant Avenue, New Freedom, PA 17349 The Veneer Department has an opening for a full time Veneer Coordinator for 1st Shift reporting to the Plant Manager and assisting the Project Managers. Our hours of operation are 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Monday through Friday. Overtime hours are available. This position requires you to stand for the majority of the 8-hour shift and the desired candidate must be able to lift 20 – 30 pounds. This position requires inventory inspection, entering/utilizing veneer in the inventory system, organizing samples for review by others, writing purchase orders and keeping in house inventory organized for order selection. The Veneer Coordinator must have a strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, be self-motivated and willing to ask questions. This position requires basic math skills, Microsoft Office, data entry skills, excel knowledge, photography skills, organizational skills, the ability to prioritize, and the ability to communicate with employees in different departments, supervisors, and project managers. The Veneer Coordinator must learn to operate woodworking equipment (wood cutting machines & splicers,) layup of samples, keeping sample boxes & the veneer inventory accurate and up to date.
